It will sleep 2 in luxury or 2 extra on roll out beds. There’s lots of space inside with the massive open plan living room.

This a premium location; a quiet, prosperous, and friendly neighborhood in the Centrum of Amsterdam, opposite of PrinsenIsland. The Western Islands are a small world in itself, suitable for walks – all in 1671 by John Antonides van der Goes in a poem, the Ystroom, recommended – and nowadays often the setting for movie shooting.

Until the end of the 19th century, this was an area with many shipyards, small industries and warehouses. On the islands and in the vicinity were also loctions where ship hulls, sails and fishing nets were preserved.

From the beginning there were warehouses and shipyards in the Western Isles. They were an important part of the atmosphere on the islands, a combination of working and living.

There is no through traffic on the street, and little water traffic compared to the inner ring canals.The south facing location gets direct sunlight, almost all day even in mid-winter.

The boat is held about 4 meters away from the street, so there’s a clean privacy moat, with a sturdy steel bridge with a locking gate.

There is 1 bedroom [for a couple] with a very large bed. It is possible to make a second sleeping area using dividers in the main room. There’s a lot of storage space, a large living room, full bath and separate toilet, washing machine, high efficiency gas central heating, and hardwood double glazed windows that open.

The interior is finished to a high standard, with hardwood floor throughout, white walls and dark hardwood trim. A large TV slides out of a fitted cupboard when you want to see it, and is hidden when you don’t. Most of the interior is a single very spacious living/dining room.

This boat gets sunlight all day, even in mid winter. Plenty of insulation and central heating mean that boats stays warm and comfortable all winter.

Excellent road access to the center of town and the ring highway. Very good pubic transport links.

The rent is exclusing cost of use gas, water, electricity, internet.

The boat has city gas, water, electricity and internet for € 220,00 extra per month.
